Observation

-Some nap mats that were accessible to children in the young preschool room were in large plastic bags. -Paint touch ups are needed throughout the building. -The wall in the school age room had a whole in it behind the door. -The window screens in the older preschool room were ripped. One screen was ripped away from the bottom and sides while the window was open, so there was no preventive barrier to discourage the children from exiting through the window. -The child proofing latch on a cabinet in the older preschool room was not engaged which made cords accessible to the children. -The child proofing latch on a cabinet in the older preschool room was not engaged which made adult scissor accessible to the children. -A loose hose on the back playground posed a tripping hazard. -Water from a hand washing sink faucet in the young preschool room was 126 degrees Fahrenheit. -An electrical outlet which was accessible to children in the school age room was not tamper resistant or covered with a plate.
